• About 30 drivers and 60 warehouse staff jobs are now assured at Hays Distribution Services' Minworth depot as the company wins a £2m a year national distribution contract for Philips Sound & Vision from 1 August.
Tesco Stores is in the process of pulling its bonded goods out of the site: two months ago Bass signed up to distribute 300,000 cases of beer per year from the site.
Hays says it may need new drivers to work on the Philips contract.
