Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Nissan has unveiled its NV200 van range, an allnew model line-up in the 2000kg gross vehicle weight class.

The van, first seen in prototype form at the IAA Hannover Show last September, will be launched to the press in September this year, with the first UK models hitting UK shores in October.

The NV200 replaces the Kubistar in Nissan's line-up —a rebadged version of the Renault Kangoo — and is set to go head-to-head with Renault's new Kangoo, as well as other products such as Volkswagen's Caddy and Ford's Connect in the car-derived van sector.

Nissan also has one eye on the slightly larger "L" van class, which includes the likes of Fiat's Scudo as it makes a bid to dominate the van market by 2013.

The new van marks a bold step for Nissan as it bids to reassert itself in the Euro

pean van market with a completely new design. While some components are common to its car line-up and other companies in the family — the 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine, for instance, is also used in the Kangoo — the styling is distinctively Nissan and the company has retained a clear focus on ensuring the van maximises cargo volume and usability • See CM13 August for more on the NV200.
