A survey commissioned by the AA Foundafion for Road Safety Research has confirmed that men are worse drivers than women. Not only do they drive faster and break the law more often; they are also more likely to drink and drive. Psychology professor Frank McKenna, who led the study, says: "Men look for thrills behind the wheel, while women seek independence." The survey shows women continue to be safer drivers and the high opinion men have of their driving skills is not justed. There! That's us well and truly told.
