Fleetline rear engined doubledeckers has been placed by Western SMT Co. Ltd., which is currently introducing a batch of 55 similar buses. These latter are the first Fleetlines to be introduced by Western and are Riled with Alexander 75-seat bodies.
Most of the new Fleetlines will be fitted with similar Alexander bodies, but 10 will have 75-seat bodies built by the Northern Counties Motor and Engineering Co. Ltd.
