GOODYEAR CLAIMS fleets of 50 trucks or more could save £210,000 in fuel costs annually by using its recently launched Fuelmax fuel-efficient truck tyre.
The tyre range is available across Europe and features its Fuelmax S steer tyres, Fuelmax D drive tyres, and Fuelmax T trailer tyres. Goodyear said that, if used in place of a same-sized D-grade tyre, operators can save about £4,000 a year in fuel costs per truck by using the tyres.
Both the steer and trailer tyre ranges have received an A-grade in fuel efficiency according to EU tyre label regulations.
