One of the advantages claimed for the Copy-Strip method of effecting a preventive maintenance scheme is its flexibility to cope with changes in the programme. Additions or deletions can be made without upsetting the sequence of items on the work list, eliminating the need. to rewrite the entire programme.
" Missed " items can be identified as priority jobs next time and actual and standard times can be readily compared.
