If you intend to use the vehicle as a psv then it will require a Certificate of Fitness and a psv licence. It will have to comply, therefore, with the conditions laid down in the Public Service Vehicle (Conditions of Fitness, Equipment and Use) Regulations 1972, Si No 751 price 21p, available from HM Stationery Office or through any bookseller. If you operate the vehicle as a psv you will, of course, need a road service licence under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1960, which is also available from HM Stationery Office price 971p. Also the driver will need a psv driving licence.
