• Mr. Peter Welding, Merseyside PTE's director of planning and development, said last week that experiments with feeder buses for commuter trains were being planned. The original idea of bus feeder services to railway stations outside Liverpool was included in a report by the Merseyside Area Land Use and Transportation Study. Mr. Welding said that the PTE was working with British Railways towards an integrated transport system.
