Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We continue our brief ail,: Ince notice of the intended exhibits at the forthcoming Manchester Show, which will be held at the City Hall, Manchester, from the 14th to 22nd pros., inclusive, and which Show is officially styled "The Second North of England Show."

Vehicles.

BELsizx.—A two-seater cab, with 8 ft. 5 in. -wheelbase, three speeds and worm transmission; a four-seater cab, with 8 ft. 3 in. wheelbase, four speeds and worm (or bevel) transmission; a 5-cwt. chassis with a canvas-top van; a 15-cwt. chassis, with canvas-top van; a 30-cwt. chassis. designed to carry a 19-seated char-I-banes (chain drive); and a threeton chassis, with 13 ft. wheelbase.

COMMERCIAL CARS (additional).—As well as the four-ton brewer's lorry, to which we referred last week, a three-tmi chassis fitted with Polack tires.

.i/v.uNts (on the stand of Staffords, Ltd.).—A 60 h.p. fire-engine, which is a repeat sale to the Leeds Corporation, a 20 h.p. standard char-à-bancs (one of several on order for Bournemouth), and a 30-ewl, standard box van, which will afterwards be used for demonstration purposes in the Manchester area.

GARarxr.—A three-ton superheated rubber-tired steam wagon, in which all the Garrett patent features are embodied.

LACRE.—A standard 20 h.p. fourcylinder 25-cwt. chassis. a two-ton 30 h.p. box van (sold to John Horn, Ltd., Manufacturing Confectioners, Stoekpbrt), and a 38 h.p. 28-seated torpedo char-a-bancs (sold to Crosville Motor Co., Chester).

LAWTOIC—A new five-ton MilnesDaimler chassis, a 1913-type chassis for loads of 2 to 2i tons, a 1913-type chaSsis for six-ton loads, and a 35 h.p. char-abanes—all Milnes-Daimlers, lAryi.Awn.--A. 45 h.p. 1913-model torpedo char-h-banns, a 45 h.p. four-tuit petrol lorry, a 45 h.p. 1913-model L.C.C.-pattern fire-engine, with ReesRoturbo turbine pump (capacity 320 gallons per minute at 120 lb. pressure per sq. in.), a 14-16 h.p. one-ton van for W. and R. Jacob and Co., Ltd. (18th repeat order), and a 30 h.p. three-lon lorry fur Jewsbury and Brown, Ltd. (seventh re peat order).

RENAR1).—A 30 h.p. five-ton lorry, with special low chassis, a 25 h.p. %-tim tipping wagon, and a front-wheel-drive unit. All the foregoing are of the unique Renard-Latil design.

SIDDELE1 -DEA.S1.—A 16 hp, chassis, with four-cylinder Silent-Knight sleevevalve engine, designed to carry loads of 30 cwt., or to be used for omnibus or char-a-banes bodies to carry ten people.

SToswzn.—A 30 h.p. chain-driven five-ton lorry, and a 13.9 hp. delivery van for loads of from 7 to 10 cwt.

Accessories.

Avos.—Avon band tires for all classes of commercial vehicles, in the half-round and special " B" sections, Avon

Manchester Show.—con.

" Grip" or " Clinched-on " solid tires for light vans, in all sizes from 2i in. to 5 in., and for wheels of from 32 in. to 42 in, overall diameter, Avon pneumatic tires and inner tubes, and sundry other exhibits.

Commix Csurs.---Roller and noiseless chains for road drives, noiseless chains for camshaft, magneto and pump drives, and chain-driven speed-gearboxes.

Doox SWAIN.—Dook's Hercules band tires, artillery wheels, patent petrol pourer and sieve combined, and rubber matting. DUNLOP ROBBER CO.—A full range of Dunlop solid tires of the band type, in a variety of sizes, suitable for light delivery vans to the heaviest lorries, and examples of Dunlop solid tires removed from service after the attainment of large mileages. Also carriage tiring and general rubber goods of interest to the motor trade.

HOWES AND BURLEY .—English-made lamps and horns, which have been

specially designed for use on commercial vehicles.

Other Exhibitors.

The intentions of the Mossley Hill Motor Car Works, Renault, Ltd., Sidney Straker and Squire. Ltd., and the Time Automobile and Marine Motors, Ltd., in the Vehicle Section, and of the North British Rubber Co., Ltd., in the Accessory Section, will be announced by us next week. At the moment of writing they are not to hand. THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR will also have a stand.
