was served with an enforcement order prohibiting me from using my home for operation of a coach business. I rent commercial premises for my coaches, but I have been using a 12-seater minibus to transport me from my home to the garage. The vehicle is taxed and insured Private and Hackney.

On September 29 Sandwell Council summoned me for parking the minibus on my own property, and on November 24 I was fined (50, plus costs, at Sandwell magistrates' court.

I think your readers may not be aware that when they take a firm's vehicle home they can leave themselves open to being fined. This would, of course, apply to builders, window cleaners, etc, or anyone using their vehicle for a dual purpose — business and pleasure. JOHN R. YOUNG, Great Barr Coaches., Birmingham.
