CJMBERLAND haulier Reg Monkhouse, of Park Head, Brampton, Carlisle, has adopted an idea he noticed among members of a big trucking concern when he was in America. He has a notice on his lorry stating that £1,402 was paid to the Govt. in road and fuel tax for his lorry in 1965.
He believes it would be a good idea if other hauliers followed his example.
