BLACKPOOL corporation takes delivery early in the New Year of a Lacre suction roadsweeper collector fitted with dual controls so that it may be driven on either side of the road with safety.
Other 1967/68 deliveries:—Five Dennis Norba refuse loading vehicles; a Dennis Pax 111 centre-loading collector; two Karrier sideloading refuse vehicles; two Dennis 800 gal. capacity gully emptiers; three Epoke salt and sand spreaders; two BMC five-ton tippers; and two BMC mini-vans for supervisory use.
