Storage shelves are fitted on each side and are adjustable for height; those to the rear of the entrance are provided with sliding doors. A small tool locker and workbench complete with vice are located at the rear of the gangway.

Natural interior illumination is by two roof lights, supplemented by windows ai each end of the gangway and four fluorescent light fittings. Two extractor fans are provided and Smiths heaters are employed. Safety Walk flooring manufactured by the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company is used throughout.

The first vehicle is intended for car race meetings and went into service at the R.A.C. Tourist Trophy at Goodwood last Saturday. The second vehicle, which is still in the hands of the coachbuilders, is intended for motorcycle race meetings. It will be fitted with two 6 ft. nitrogen cylinders, one for inflating tyres and the other to be used for sump extraction. These are housed in a special compartment on the offside. the first vehicle having provision for similar cylinders. Both vehicles can carry up to 750 gallons of lubricating oil.

Next Year's Shows PROVISIONAL dates bave now been given for the 1964 vehicle exhibitions in Europe. Shows at which all types of commercial vehicles and cars will be displayed are Geneva, March 12-22; Oslo, April 3-12; and Paris, October 1-11. Commercial vehicles of all types, but no cars, will be exhibited at Amsterdam from February 6-16. Public service vehicles and cars, but no goods models, will be shown at Turin from October 31 to November II; goods vehicles will be shown this year and in 1965 in place of

No commercial vehicles will be shown next year at Brussels or Copenhagen; the Belgian show, from January 15-26,.and thc Danish exhibition, from February 28 to March 8, will be devoted to cars.
