ANEW Guy forward-control passenger chassis. incorporating the Meadows 6DC.500 six-cylindered directinjection oil engine was announced on Tuesday. It is to be exhibited at the British Trade Fair in Helsinki from Sep-, tember 6-22 by OY Packalen AB, Guy's newly appointed distributors for Finland.

NO PRICE RISE—YET

ALTHOUGH Guy Motors, Ltd., state that they have to bear increased costs because of the engineers' pay award of May this year and other imposts, they have undertaken not to advance the prices of any vehicle ordered and accepted for delivery before October 31. A long-standing defence contract has been cancelled and factory capacity released for civilian work.

NEW registrations of commercial vehicles in the Federation of Rhodesia-Nyasaland last year inereated by 30 per cent. to 6.994. The rate of introduction of new vehicles this year dropped, and from January to June 3,151 vehicles Were registered.
