Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

all rosy in the garden" (CM 26 Mar-1 Apr) gives a misleading view that Renault Trucks has not been represented in South London and that it is expanding, making great inroads towards satisfying customers' demand for better service and parts.

What Kent Truck Services' owner, managing director Sandy Young, neglected to mention or overlooked was the cost of his new enterprise to Renault truck operators in Surrey.

There was already a wellestablished service dealer in Mitcham (Wells Commercials) and also a long-serving dealer in Surrey (Marriott of Nuffield), both of which have had to make way for Sandy Young's "tough" challenge.

Now these Renault opera tors on FM10,000 contracts who were happy with their local dealers are travelling miles into town for service.

Renault has made a habit of making dealers redundant. I wonder how much Sandy Young, being a Renault VI dealer chairman, has had to do with these dealer terminations? It seems to have little to do with customer satisfaction.

Renault has a good product, but it's no wonder it cannot penetrate the British market What it forgets is that dealers, drivers and operators all talk to one another, and it leaves a nasty taste in your mouth.

It's no good selling trucks if you cannot give the necessary back-up.

By the way, may I suggest that you carry out one of your breakdown tests around Pease Pottage Services and Handcross to see what response times you get from Renault?
