Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

show, local Foden dealer Manchester Truck Centre was running a ride-and-drive and CM grabbed a turn behind the wheel of the new 380hp Cummins-powered Alpha 4x2 tractor. Like the 8x4, access into the Alpha tractor is easy, underpinning the strengths of the original Daf cab design. Getting a good driving position is simple, and the driver's seat supports well.

Having commented on the growl of the Mll Celect engine in the day-cab eight-legger it sounded more muted in the trac tor. On the road the Alpha artic showed the same impressive road manners as the tipper, riding particularly well hauling a triaxle tipping trailer. We think the Alpha's ride and handling is even better than the 85 Series.

The no-nonsense Alpha interior will appeal to drivers and operators alike. If we have any complaints, the bunk needs to be raised off the cab floor to provide more storage space.

The bed should also be split in two so the entire thing doesn't have to be lifted for access to storage. Daf offers a similar setup on the 85 Series as an option; we think it should be standard on the Alpha.
