Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

fiNT has seconded logistics expert Dave Betts to the Sudan where he will advise Save the Children on food distribution for six months.

The visit this month follows a fact-finding mission in November in which Betts examined the food supply chain between Port Sudan and Darfur Province, an area in the north-west of Sudan. Save the Children's relief programme this year will entail distributing 160,000 tonnes of grain in 14,000 truck movements over very poor roads.

As well as developing a logistics structure, Betts aims to refurbish vehicles, open a maintenance workshop and establish fuel supply and storage. The Hawk looks forward to hearing of the project's progress.
