THE 1983 edition of the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association Directory of Members (VBRA, £10 including postage) is now available.

The 256-page publication contains the names and addresses of the Association's 3.500 members, who, it is claimed, carry out over 70 per cent of accident insurance repa work and who build and repair; large proportion of the commercial vehicle bodies produced in this country.

Included among these are th( VBRA's Associate members, suppliers of material and equipment to the bodybuilding and repair industries and these feature strongly in the Buyer's Guide Section of the Directory, which contains the names and addresses of over 1,000 companies (and their branches' who manufacture and distributi paint and sundry materials, too and welding and straightening equipment, safety aids and bodybuilding materials.

The Directory includes the phone numbers and contacts ol various motor manufacturers' parts departments for use in emergency after the normal liaison between repairer, distributor and manufacturer has broken down.

THE AUTOMOBILE Associati( has published two European guides for the grand Europa tour or a simple budget brek• The Travellers' Guide to Europe (E4.95) lists 8,000 AA approved and classified hote 2,000 garages and has a 58-pai atlas section.

The 496 pages cover 19 countries and feature town pla of the principal cities, and AE of European motoring regulations and general information, and advice on rou planning and necessary documentation.

The second publication, Guesthouses, Farmhouses an Inns in Europe (E3.95), is suitt for the traveller on a budget The two books are available from AA outlets and booksellers.
