ONE THIRD of New York, Boston, Lincolnshire-based E. T. Morris's haulage fleet has been uprated to 38 tonne operation and the entire fleet is being equipped with sideguards.
Director Neil Morris said that six of the 21 vehicles in the fleet are now 38-tanners, with tri-axle trailers, and these will be used for steel haulage on import/export work.
Sideguards are being fitted to the entire fleet to ensure total interchangeability, as two-axle semi-trailers towed behind 38tonne tractive units will need them from January 1 next year.
