BACK-FIXING versions of the Pathfi ndei fog lamp and Projector long-range lamp have been announced by Joseph Lucas Ltd., the special merit of the lamps being that they can be fitted without brackets tc light commercial vehicles having a limited front.41 area by attaching with bolts that pass through the radiator grille or bodywork. The lamps can be swivelled into any position on a concealed ball-joint after two lock nuts have been slackened off.
Of the sealed-beam type the lamps are gas-filled, which affords protection against atmospheric pollution and gives increased accuracy of filament location in relation to the focal point of the reflector.
