Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Cee-Bee Chemical Co. Ltd. recently introduced six types of Transbrite compound for treating aluminium surfaces exposed to soiling and corrosion.

Transbrite 1 is a cleansing agent which is mixed in varying proportions with water or paraffin depending upon the degree of emulsification and wetting required, application being by spray-wand or bristle brush. Employed for the removal of tar, heavy oils and so on, Transbrite 2 is applied with a swab without dilution, whilst Transbrite 3 is mixed with water in a 1 to 1 solution and is applied with a spray-wand when the surface is lightly corroded or oxidized. In the event of heavier corrosion, Transbrite 4 is used undiluted in place of Transbrite 3, and it is sometimes necessary subsequently to employ Transbrite 5 to remove smut, an ounce of this compound being diluted with a gallon of water. Transbrite 6 is similarly diluted for use as a corrosion-prevention solution.
