ANEW division—special attachments— has been set up by L. Lipton Ltd., of Wooburn Green, Bucks., a company prominent in the fork-lift truck-hiring field.
Lipton has found that many users of standard mechanical-handling equipment need assistance in the application of specialpurpose attachments for particular uses; also there are often difficulties in getting "one-off" fitments made economically.
The new division will study applications and needs in consultation with Lipton branches throughout the country and it will be equipped to produce, to user's specification, anything from the "one-off" job to a whole range of attachments to extend the utility of a materials handling fleet.
