Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The lierbie Clip is a one-piece moulded nylon hose clamp with a patented design incorporating a double row of interlocking teeth.

It is now available though Plastic Parts Centre, the national distribution network which aims to provide a comprehensive one-stop sales service for a wide range of plastic parts and components.

The Herbie Clip is made from nylon 66. PPC says it is safe and easy to use and offers "high integrity clamping".

It can be fitted after the hose is in place and fixing is a simple matter of engaging the teeth and tightening the jaws to achieve the desired tension.

Release is equally simple and the clip is fully reusable.

The unit is resistant to ultra violet light and its low toxicity makes it suitable for use in the food industry.

Other applications include the fixing of cables and conduits; the Herbie Clip is available in 36 diameters from 5.6-I69mm with a choice of colours.

It handles pressure up to 200psi and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +150°C. Contact: 01384 424248.
