Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IMPROVEMENTS in commercial I vehicle design, particularly those making for increased safety, that are to be seen at the Commercial Motor Show at Earls Court have been welcomed by the Road Haulage Association.

The R.H.A. attaches special importance to the greater braking power afforded by the new models and also to the fact that increased power has been accompanied by arrangements to ensure that if one system fails, adequate retardation will be available from the remaining system. The general use of power-assisted handbrakes in the latest heavy vehicles is a valuable improvement and is one for which the Association has campaigned.

Complaints by motorists that they are baulked on hills by heavy vehicles have been met by the more powerful engines fitted in many of the latest models. Improvements in comfort and electrical equipment were also noted and welcomed by the R.H.A.
