Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Removals men are at last going around with something other than gloom on their faces. With the stagnation which hit the housing market last year, many saw their business running away —even without the ever larger slice of removals work going the way of the do-it-yourselfers. Now, I hear, business is picking up quite encouragingly.

One removals man I met recently was stressing the need for continued emphasis on the personal touch. His fleet is organised into five and six van units, each with its own manager. "The removals business comes nearer to the personal lives of customers than any other form of road transport," he reminded me. "Who else goes into people's homes and rifles through their possessions?"
