A NEW 780sq m (8400sq ft) extension to the Market Harborough plant of King Truck Equipment Ltd has ben opened. The company, which has specialised in the manufacture of low loaders, has now extended its activities to building a range of equipment for public authorities. Included in this range are twowheeled cable-reel trailers and pole erectors, mounted on rigid chassis, for street lighting and overhead telephone installations.
The increase in factory space enables the company to market a similar range of products to the parent company in Canada, which also includes overhead access platforms and fire appliances.
