Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• An agreement has been reached between British Leyland and AG Adolph Saurer, the Swiss bus builder, over the manufacture and marketing of a new range of city and inter-city buses. BLMC will provide sales and servicing for the new buses in countries other than Switzerland. Leyland's wholly-owned Danish subsidiary, Leyland DAB AS, will build bodies on mechanical units provided by Saurer.

The new range of vehicles, which is not expected to be marketed in the UK, will initially consist of two buses: a 12m, 102 passenger machine with up to three doors and a I15-passenger articulated bus with two, three or four doors. The mid-engined buses feature wide doors, low platform height, turbo-charged Saurer engines, automatic gearbox and retarder braking system. An automatic heating system is provided which incorporates a boost when the doors are open.

The new vehicles are already being produced and an order for 31 buses has been won from the municipality of Geneva.
