OTJTPUT of commercial vehicles for the year 1961 reached a record figure of 460,167. The tdtal number of commercial vehicles manufactured in December was 37,535, compared with a total of 45,510 for December, 1960. Record figures were also registered last year for the export of commercial vehicles, both in volume and value. The value of parts and accessories (including tyres) during 1961 was also a record at £184.5m.
