FUEL CONSUMPTION results from Renault’s leet of Union lag-liveried Premium demonstrators have shown a group average of 9.58mpg over the course of the trials.

Data gathered from the onboard Optifuel Infomax system showed that the highest consumption igure achieved during the trial was 11.13mpg, while many of the 10 test vehicles – including a Welsh lag-wrapped Premium – achieved more than 10mpg.

Christophe Blazère (right), MD of Renault Truck Commercials, says: “We sold over 50 Premiums as a result of this programme and most are signiicant conquests for Renault Trucks, such as JJ Bartletts and Sons and Ralph Coleman. In fact, all our demonstration vehicles were sold before the programme ended.”
