At the end of the financial year, many if not all dealers offload their demo fleet. These vehicles have plenty going for them: latest engine, strong specification, low mileage, service history, and overzealous repair and maintenance to counter the odd dent and scratch from a two-week trial with an operator. Manufacturers also offload demo fleets, and this invariably includes trucks put up for roadtest. These are specced up for fuel economy. What better kudos than a report written up in the industry’s leading mag, Commercial Motor?
