Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

kS MUCH AS! understand what kustin Caulfield has pointed out,I lon't really agree with what he las said (CM 19 May). There are a ot of drivers and presumably lauliers who would stand and >upport the industry, but the *gest problem we have is not cnowing what is being planned.

Take the recent fuel protests as example. Why were the plans lot made public within the Lndustty? I am part of Barrie Tozers' team at www.truckersworld.co.uk and also a member of www.onlinetruckers.co.uk and wwwtrucknetuk.com, but none of the sites published any planned protests, simply because the organisers did not involve us.

If they want support they would certainly get it, but they will need to include us all in the plans. These websites are free and if we all united along with the trade magazines, we could reach a much wider audience than we do alone.

The recent protests may have been planned down to the last minute detail, but the execution was frankly embarrassing for the industry. Let us both assist and support those who wish to plan these events so we can get the attention that the entire industry so desperately needs.

Support is there, but what good is it without communication?
