still very much in evidence as a brewery vehicle delivering to the many hostelries that satisfy the area's thirsty walkers This example, running for local brewery Hartley's, was spotted by one of the Hawk's correspondents at Coniston delivering to the Crown Hotel where water speed ace Donald Campbell reputedly supped a few pints. Coniston Water was where he died attempting to beat his own record. The Bedford is unlikely to beat any speed records but it's hard to beat for pulling pints up those winding Lakeland passes.
