• The IRTE show at Telford saw a variety of new accessories and materials handling equipment for light CVs.
Ratcliff launched its RQ500 lightweight column lift, which weighs around 175kg. The RQ500S, for 3.5-tonners, is £ 1,600 while the RQ500L, for 7.5-tonners, costs £80 more. Dhollandia agent Brookside displayed a new vertical column-type tail-lift that uses hydraulic cylinders. One and 1.5 tonnes capacity versions weigh between 200 and 300kg.
Rockinger showed the Variobloc coupling, which enables light CVs up to 5 tonnes gross to tow trailers fitted with a basic pin and eye, hook-type, automatic drawbar or 50rnm ball.
