A PROTOTYPE for a new coach chassis, the first by Chrysler aimed at the British psv market, is at present being evaluated. It is front engined and suitable for 10 metre bodywork.
A Chrysler spokesman told CM that although the present chassis was an extended truck model it was likely that the production version would be purpose built for psv use.
He could not predict when production might start as this depended largely on the performance of the prototype during testing.
