THERE were joint winners a the CMLDoY heat held in Nor. wich. The two drivers, Shaur. Beeching and Harry Cursor both ended the contest with 31 penalties.
Winners were : Class A: Michael Granger, Post Office, 86 penalties; Class B: Peter Mayes, Norfolk County Council, 91; Class C: Shaun Beeching, Esso, 37.
Class D: Keith Goldsmith, Jeys UK, 51; Class E: Mick Garner, Eastern BRS, 73; Class F: Tony Williams, Eastern BRS, 37; Class G: Harry Curson, NCL, 37; Class H: Neville Crick, Cadbury Schweppes, 39.

HEAT winner of the London area CMLDoY was last year's Lorry Driver of the Year, Colin Burrows, who was one of 122 competitors to take part in the contest heat.

A TIEBREAKER was used at the Hants heat of CMLDoY contest when T. P. Oldfield drew with the eventual winner of class G: H. Hayler.
