Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

One of the most useful and successful aspects of the work of the Road Transport Industry Training Board has been the on-the-spot assistance and adviceprovided through its TA SC programme. This Training Aid for Small Companies has been applied to both road haulage and motor trade sectors. Now the Board's two TASC managers have agreed to write a series ofarticles for Commercial Motor, setting out the management methods which they have sought to introduce in the haulage sector, and using actual case studies to demonstrate how these have benefited small hauliers.

They will introduce the series in a Management Matters article next week, and thereafter for seven weeks will cover such examples as vehicle costing, utilization of resources, objective management and general financial matters such as credit collection and debt control.
