Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Portsmouth bodybuilder J. H. Sparshatt& Sons Ltd has now entered the municipal field with the design and production of a crew cab for the British Leyland Boxer range of chassis.

The cab is primarily designed for use with refuse bodies and other municipal bodywork, where a cab with maximum seating capacity is required. But it can also be supplied in modified form, with an interior layout to form a sleeper-cab for long-distance operation on the Continent.

Sparshatts have retained the original factory-built screen assembly, front doors and driver's seat. They have then added a moulded grp rear panel assembly, double passenger seat in front and full-width seat of similar design behind the driving position. This gives accommodation for six people, plus the driver.

An additional near-side door is fitted to give access to the rear seats, and there is an option of an extra rear door on the offside as well.

Rear and roof panels are grp mouldings, produced by Sparshatts, and these have appropriate interior lining. Extensive use of grp makes for simple interior cleaning. When the cab is supplied in sleeper form, one or two transverse bunks are fitted.

The new Sparshatt cab can be fitted on the full Boxer range of vehicles from 10 ton to 16 ton gvw.
