• The "Loadrnate" hydraulic hoist for vans and pickups, first seen at the Motor Show, is now available in two versions: the LM450 with a lifting capacity of 200kg, and the 500kgcapacity LM1000.

Its maker, Loadmate of Woodley, Reading, claims the one-man operation hoist meets all current safety standards. "Loadmate" has been tested and certified by Lloyds British Testing and carries a 12-month warranty.
