• TNT is launching an automotive supplies division using business with motor manufacturers already won by TNT Express Europe, the new division's parent arm.
TNT Automotive International will be headed by general manager Brian Joy. James Wilson, UK general manager of TNT Express Europe, hopes to have over .210 million worth of orders with most major manufacturers by the end of the year.
TNT Automotive International will use the fleet of 12 aircraft and 6,000 vehicles belonging to its parent division, as well as trucks and planes of its own. It already carries parts for Ford and General Motors, and will be expanded to cover all of Europe.
