• A do-it-yourself goods vehicle check system to enable operators to comply with the inspection and maintenance record sections of the 1967 Road Safety Act (S.18) is to be provided for its members by TRTA.
For use by properly trained maintenance staff, the system provides an inspection chart, maintenance inspection forms, rectification notes, and a vehicle maintenance record file.
The inspection chart and forms include all the items in the Ministry's Goods Vehicle Tester's Manual.
