PI.A NEW spare-wheel carrier is available for the Fourtrak semi-trailer, which is now tieing produced in quantity by Scatnmell Lorries, Ltd.
The carrier is constructed from rolled steel channel and it is claimed to be a simple and quick matter to remove and replace the spare wheel. The wheel is first pushed partly under the carrier and one side is lifted on to the " T " head and pushed against the post. Weighing down on the tyre at the highest point brings the wheel horizontal and it is then manceuvred com
pletely over the " T " head. It is secured by special "L" handle bolts.
