BERLIET is now offering two additional and more powerful engines to the MDS 06.35.40, which produce 198kW (266hp) fitted to TRL 280 forward cab tractive unit.

The MDR 06.35.40 is a development of the 280 series engine using the same basic engine block.

A power output of 224kW (300hp) at 1900rpm is given for the cooled air supercharged engine.

For conditions where power is the criteria the 350 Series is offered developing 266kW (356bhp) at 2000rpm and a torque of 1,461Nm (1,077lb ft) at 1,400rpm.

Initially these engines will be available in vehicles duced for the French mat but some may become aN able for the UK during 197;
