Ramp springs, body ironwork, tipping gears and jack screws, will represent the main items to be displayed by William E. Cary, Ltd:, Adeline Street, Manchester, on Stand 227.

A. full range of sparking plugs. suitable for all types of tractor, will be' shown by the Champion Sparking Plug' Co., Ltd., Feltham, Middlesex, on Stand 214., In addition to sparking plugs, there will be push-on types of waterproof plug covers, and plug cleaners and testing. units. The lastnamed are suitable for servicing all sizes of plug for insulation efficiency, gas tightness and spark intensity.

Axles, hubs, brakes, steeland pneumatic-type wheel conversion sets for British and American tractors, and a range of Avon implement -tyres, will form the exhibit of J. W. and T. Connolly, Ltd., Stanhope Street, Euston Road, London, N.W.I, on Stand 200.

Engine and transmission lubricants for tractors and other farm machinery will he staged by Alexander Duckham and Co., Ltd., 346, Kensington High Street, London, W.14, on Stand 235.

Two new types of tyre will he featured by the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, on Stand 297. They are five-ribbed implement tyres, their respective sizes being 5,50 by 16 and 6.00 by 16. Also 'to be Shown will be a wide range of other tyres for tractors and farm implements, including wheelbarrows.

The Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., has recently made a number of additions to its range of tyres for use on tractors and agricultural implements, and these, together with better-known types, will be seen on Stand 301. New products include. tyres for industrial tractors, 4.00 by 30, and 3.00 by 7 implement tyres, and a semipneumatic cushion tyre designed foraise on tractor toolbars, barrows and trolleys. The industrial tractor tyre, which is at prcSent made only in the 900-36/11-136 size, has been developed

for use on tractors employed on quarrying, logging, hauling of threshing tackle, and similar heavy duties.

Stand 312 will be occupied by the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. (Great Britain), Ltd., Bushbury Wolverhampton, where it will display types of tyre to meet all the demands of the agrioultural industry.

A complete range of tyres for agricultural vehicles and appliances will be exhibited on Stand 310 by the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., 30, St. John's Wood Road, London, N.W.8. One of the best

known of make is probably the Super-Grip tractor tyre, for which selfcleaning properties are claimed.

Amongst equipment to he shown on Stand 234. by the Laycock Engruieering Co., Ltd., Victoria Works, Millhouses, Sheffield, will be the wellknown Merlin highpressure wishing plant, cleansing tanks, portable compressors, and .hydraulic lifting jacks. A two-wheeled trolleytype compressor to be shown,has an output of 21 cubic ft. per minute; power is supplied by a

h.p. motor. The Merlin high-pressure washer is powered by a 11 h.p. electric motor, which is capable of driving a three-throw-type pump to produce a water pressure of 375 lb. per sq. in., the water being delivered at the highly economic rate of 31 g.p.m.

Types of sparking plug for all makes of engine, both British and foreign, will be shown by Lodge Plugs, Ltd., Rugby, on Stand 317. A feature of the Lodge plug design -is the use of Syntox insulators.

Magnetos specially designed for tractor service, lighting sets for use in night ploughing, and a wide range of other electrical equipment, will be exhibited by Joseph Lucas, Ltd., Great King Street, Birmingham, on Stand 314.

Various types of tractor wheel for use with a large range of tractors will form the main exhibit of the Miller Wheel and Cultivator Co., -Ltd., Chelsfield, Kent, on Stand 135. Adjustable wheels for fitting to both front and rear axles give variations of 6 ins, per wheel in 1-in. stages.

Stand 164 will be occupied by the Moss Gear Co., Ltd., Tyburn, Birmingham, where a number of gearboxes, a rear-axle assembly for heavy tractors, a tractor front axle for four-wheel drive and other components will be amongst the items to be displayed.

In addition to its own exhibit on Stand 290, the engines of F. Perkins, Ltd., Queen Street, Peterborough, will

• be seen on a number of other stands. Amongst the units to be shown by the engine maker will be the. Perkins P.6 as designed to fit the Fordson Major tractor, the • P.4 (T.A.). an alternative unit for the Nuffield tractor, and further examples of the P.6 engine, suitable for fitting. in Massey-Harris and Fordson Major tractors.

A large selection of chains and chain wheels will be shown by the Renold and Coventry Chain Co., Ltd., Manchester, on Stand 319. Amongst these will be examples which will withstand loads of from 3.000 lb. to 12,000 lb. pull. In addition, this exhibitor will have a range of shaft couplings suitable for power transmission applications.

Various types of compressor, suitable for either electric or petrol-engine drive, will he included in the equipment of Rontac Industries, Lid., The Hyde, Hendon, London. N.W.9 (Stand 307). One of these compressors will be a four-cylindered unit with air receiver, which has been developed for attachmen to tractors. The drive is taken from the auxiliary pulley mounted on the tractor, being arranged so that it will not interfere with the usual functions of this particular pulley. Spray

guns, air cleaners and a wide range of

accessories will also be -shown 7.

'Joseph Sankey and Sons, Ltd., Hadley CastleWorks, Wellington. Shropshire, will be exhibiting on Stand 295 various types of tractor wheel.

Servals silencers, suitable for all types of tractor, air-intake silencers,' fuel economizers which 'also enable engines to he quickly switehed over-frOm petrol to T.V.O., and exhatiSt-pipe equipment, will figure* in the display of Servals Silencers Ltd., Ashford Works, Ashford Road, Crieklewood. London. N.W.2, on Stand 243.. The system of straight-through silencing with the Servals equipment in use Will be demonstrated during the Show.

S. Smith and Sons (England), Ltd., Crickiewood Works, London. N.W.2 (Stand 321), will be showing a wide range of instruments, including revolution counters. hand tachometers, level gauges and speed indicators. A feature will be made of the Smith hydraulic implement lift, as fitted to Fordson Major tractors.

Lubricating oils and greases and other petroleum products will he shown by Snowdon, Sons and Co., Ltd., 4, Chantry

House, Eceleston Street, London, S.W.1, on Stand 181

many different types of tipping gear, together with auxiliary equipment, will be featured by the Spenborough Engineering Co., Ltd., Valley Works, Union Road, Heckmondwike, Yorkshire, on Stand 219. The range covers single sctiew, telescopic screw, screw jacks for trailer drawbars, and hydraulic rams for under-body mounting.

The safest insurance against premature wear and breakdown of argiculrural machinery, lies in correct 'and periodical lubrication. Tecalemit, Ltd., Great West Road, Brentford. Middlesex, will have many interesting pieces of equipment displayed amongst which will be a servicing unit which can give lubrication service on the farm or in the field. (Stand 198.) The Vigzol Oil Co., Ltd., 113, ParkStreet, London, W.1, will have its range of lubricating oils and greases on Stand 205.

Liddiard Lubricants, Ltd., Celerine Works, King Street, East Finchley, London, N.2, will occupy Stand 268, and Germ Lubricants, Ltd., Bloom Street, Salford, Manchester, Stand 284.
