The Western Area licence held by Honeybourne-based Ferryfast Produce has been cut from five vehicles to two for a period of four weeks by Western IC Philip Brown. The company had been convicted of unauthorised use and failing to use tachographs.
FORMAL WARNING Scottish IC Michael Betts has issued Bonnyrigg-based JF Peden (Edinburgh) with a formal warning. The company had been called before him with breaches of the drivers' hours and tachograph rules.
DANGEROUS LOAD Maintenance problems and convictions for overloading and a dangerous load have led to the licence held by Falkirkbased Carron Building Supplies Ltd being cut by two vehicles for two weeks. The company appeared before Scottish IC Michael Betts at an Edinburgh disciplinary inquiry.
