CHAMPAGNE in paper cups helped a coachload of Scottish holidaymakers to forget the British summer when Bernard Cotter, of Cotters Tours Ltd, Glasgow, saw them off on a journey to Huntly, Aberdeenshire. He doesn't make a habit of this kind of thing but he was delebrating the fiftieth anniversary of his first tour to that town. It was also the thousandth to be run to Huntly.
Bernard started the business in 1930 with a 26-seater bought on distinctly easy payments. He could not afford even the down payment, but a Crieff
dealer trusted him. Today the company has more than Lim invested in new Volvo coaches and plans further expansion. Its story is told in The Unfinished Journey, a readable 16-page booklet
