GARDNER managing director Brian Davies ha: commented on the curreni Fodens situation:

'Our association with Fodens goes back almost 5C years when they built their firs. diesel lorry with a Gardner 5L'z' engine.

"Since then, many thou sands of engines have beer supplied to Fodens who havE become an important outlet

taking in recent year approximately 16 per cent o. Gardner annual production o. automotive engines.

"Obviously, we hope thatC way will be found for continuinc the production and marketing o Fodens lorries on a profitable basis "
