HITE Motor Corporation, the American heavy vehicle nufacturer, has announced details of its right-hand drive, ward-control tractive unit scheduled to be assembled at mborough, near Ellesmere Port (CM News, June 28).

The 3.48m (137in) wheelbase tractive has Kysor air conditioning fitted as standard, a Kienzle tachograph and twin aluminium fuel tanks with a total capacity of 659 litres (145 galls).

Retail price of the 280hp version is £30,500, the 325hp one £31,500.
