• Iveco Ford's new 59.12 DailyBus chassis-cowl is being released to four bodybuilders. The longer 4,480mnrt wheelbase model has just passed tests at MIRA, enabling it to be plated at 6,400kg. The GVW offers capacity for up to 40 passengers — either 29 seated and 10 standing or 27 seated with 13 standing. Folkestone-based FSV Dormobile, Rochdale-based Mellor Coachcraft, Walter Alexander of Falkirk and Ballymenabased Robert Wright & Son are taking the 2.5-litre-engined cowls.
