Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WITH REFERENCE to Golden Oldies (CM 15 September), what a fascinating article. I bought a second copy to put away in my book case. I have written letters to you over the years and you have been kind enough to publish a few.

Being 51, I remember the Moskv ich (pictured) van very well. My father was stationed on an RAF base at Wattisham near Ipswich and the local dealer there dealt with them and I believe you could still get one until 1973-74. The brochure of the range opened up to wall chart proportions with the whole range (in cluding a pick-up) pictured spread out on a runway.

Please do another article like this and maybe feature the Peugeot 205 and 305 vans, the Citroën C15 (based on the VISA hatchback), the Ford Courier (Fiestabased) and the Austin-Morris Maestro. All the best to everyone on the staff at CM for the future. There are so many interesting topics coming from the industry.

P.S: There was also a Renault 5 van based on the three-door hatchback and the high-cube extra as well. Robert Watson

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Editor’s note: Does anyone have a copy of the Moskvich brochure Robert refers to? We’d love to share the photos with our readers.
