Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Reardon explains: "I've been working with drivers for a number of years, but the driving team here is slightly different to others I've encountered. They're quite interested in the product they're delivering, and the need to be seen as environmentally aware.

"We have various forums to gather their ideas, and they show a real interest in what the company stands for. The environmental impact is the priority, and they're keen to contribute.

"We also restructured the department, promoting the best drivers to team leaders, and part of their job is to assess the driver sequencing in order to get the minimum miles and best efficiency."

The company is loyal to Iveco and its Daily: "It provides the best blend of price and durability.

"Some of the vehicles we purchase outright, some are finance lease. Previously, we ran for four years, but now we're extending that to five."

The company's loyalty is reflected in that of its customers. "We've always had a loyal base of customers, and they arc continuing to buy from us during the recession," says Reardon.

In the long term, there are ambitious plans to expand the business.

"We currently have a range of 90( products; we're looking to increase thal by another 300 by the end of the year We'd like to offer a real ethical alternative to the traditional supermarket."•
